PARK RIDGE, NJ -- January 3, 2000 – CTB Consulting, a leading IT consulting firm,
today announced a reorganization to align itself with the needs of corporate IT
clients and position itself for growth. The announcement was made by Coley
Brown, President and CEO of CTB Consulting,
“These changes support a clear understanding of CTB Consulting’s value propositions
and our position in the industry,” stated Mr. Brown. “I have received
well-founded praise from experts and other consulting firms for what CTB has
been able to achieve in our first 10 years. All agree that CTB accomplishes the
critical tasks of establishing business return, defining goals, developing
detailed plans, and delivering fixed cost implementations. These capabilities,
which are usually associated with much larger organizations, form the genesis
for our year 2000 plans and initiatives for growth.”
In conjunction with the announcement of CTB’s year 2000 plans,
CTB has re-organized around three internal Groups. These are the Consulting
Services Group, Operational Resource Group, and Sales & Marketing.
Garry Hawxhurst, former officer in charge of Corporate Systems for The Dun &
Bradstreet Corporation, has been named to head the new Consulting Services Group.
Garry leads a team of Strategic Business Consultants who are responsible
for evaluating client Business requirements and translating requirements into
project definitions. The group provides the business consulting and project
skills necessary to develop proposals, manage project fulfillment,
and maintain executive level relations.
Coley Brown, founder and president of CTB Consulting, will lead the Technical
Assessment Group. Over the last 26 years Coley has pioneered the application of new
technologies to meet organizational IT requirements. His work in wireless
communication, network operating Systems, process improvement, and IT
infrastructure has been at the core of the many successful system
implementations at CTB’s clients.
Pete Blakovich has been named to head the Resources and Operations Group. This is
the resource pool that includes project managers, senior consultants,
developers, and engineers who provide the skills necessary to deliver projects
proposed by the Consulting Services Group.
Coley Brown has engaged with a National Search
Firm to locate an additional Senior Executive to lead CTB’s Sales and Marketing
Group. During this process Coley will temporarily lead CTB’s Sales and
Marketing efforts while actively filling this position.
“The new organization allows us to more effectively accomplish the tasks of establishing
business return, developing our professionals, and telling our story to a
broader audience in the marketplace,” said Coley Brown. “Organizing around
these strengths is the foundation for many of our year 2000 plans”
